About Me

My name is Michael Ippersiel, and I've been a "digital worker" since 2007.

Starting with a few of my own hobby niche sites and experimenting with Adsense and Amazon affiliate links, my first official job was working on the content team at a huge digital publisher specializing in content farms and arbitrage.

From there, I branched off into helping offline businesses rank in Google during the organic SEO gold rush years.

I then began to transition more into a lead generation role, thirsting for more than just vanity SEO rankings. I started directing that SEO traffic towards lead magnets, white papers and free trials. I worked independently with realtors as well as for two reputable digital marketing agencies in Oakville (Surround Integrated) and most recently in Waterloo (Honeypot Marketing).

After 10 years in this industry, I've discovered that my personal "holy trinity" in digital marketing is E.M.A.:

  • Email
  • Membership Sites
  • Automation

Businesses that build robust email, membership and automation processes and solutions into their operations become more efficient and profitable, and I help to make it happen.

Do you have an unresponsive list?

I can help.

Have a huge list but can't seem to make any sales?

I can help there too.

I'm a professional digital marketer who helps small businesses and website entrepreneurs become more profitable by adopting proven marketing strategies to positively impact their bottom-line.

Unlike web designers, SEO  specialists or social media mavens who deal in one-size-fits all solutions, I prefer to get an understanding of your needs , assess what you currently have in place and make it better.

I can't work miracles, I still haven't figured out how to walk on water...so if you're looking for some "marketing messiah" to swoop down from the heavens and single-handedly save your business, then I'm probably not your guy.

But I can help turn your website from a liability into a source of income.

I can help you streamline and optimize your processes - or help you put them into place "officially" for the first time.

There are a lot of questions that many businesses face right now:

  1. Do I need a new website?
  2. Do I need to start doing/do more social media?
  3. Should I advertise on Facebook?
  4. Do I need to have a mobile website?

The reality is that if a business or consultant is selling these services they will of course tell you that you need all of these things.

Unlike them, I prefer to measure what's happening on your website right now.

By installing analytics tracking code on your site, the percentage of your audience that uses a mobile phone can be accurately revealed. With goal tracking in place, analytics can also tell you where your best leads are coming from.

Armed with this information, you can now make informed business decisions that are relevant to your business rather than take the word of so-called "experts" who are only out to sell you the latest fad.

Start tracking your website traffic and you'll get tremendous insights into your website:

  1. You'll know for certain whether your current social media strategy is actually generating sales?
  2. You'll know if you're gaining or losing traffic month over month.
  3. You'll know which sites are sending the most traffic to your site.
  4. You'll know if that SEO work that you're paying for is actually helping or harming you.

This is the clarity that I offer to small business owners.

Want real insights about how to improve your business? Want someone who will actually listen and seek to understand your business rather than pitch you the latest bright, shiny object?

Let's talk about what I can do to help your business become more profitable today.
